Guess who is back... Again!

Last time I blogged about my weight was on February 15 and I was 155. However, I did get down to 145 by the time I quit again before April. That is when our world changed. We moved from a rental home, bought our own trailer, fixed it up to our likings, moved in and I also started school.

Today I got the urge to start back up. I weighed in at 147. That means within' the past five months I have managed to keep my weight down and only gained two pounds! I have lost 24 pounds, and I have 26 pounds to go until I am at my goal weight. Needless to say, I am still very proud of my success. Like I have said before, this is not just to lose weight, this is a lifestyle change. It is nice to see that I have kept up with my change for five months with little to no working out, no calorie counting, but still watching what I ate and enjoying what I ate! That is HUGE if you ask me.

I would like to get to my goal weight of 120 before December 1st. My husband and I will be going on a shopping spree for a new wardrobe. I would like to TRY on and BUY jeans and tshirts at my goal weight. That will be the greatest reward of all. I KNOW I can do it. I am HALF WAY there.

Today's workout:

Today was Day One of Level One, and it got me sweating, and I really could tell my muscles haven't been worked out in a while but I still pushed myself and did my best. I did not modify any of the moves except for the side crunches and I could realllllly feel it when I did the side lunges! It felt great.

I plan to do this every week day for four weeks. I am hoping to get an hour work out in on Saturday's. And, I will take Sunday's off for a rest day. Once I see the results from Ripped in 30, I will then decide what I want to do from there. I do not plan to blog each day about my work outs, but I will blog when I feel like it. Ripped in 30 is much like the 30-day shred, so I really like it. And I got GREAT results from the 30-day shred so I am really ecstatic to see what this is going to do for me.

300 Rep Work Out | Body Rock

Every Friday, my Rugrats go to their Mamaw NayNay's (Kevin's best man's mom) for the day. This gives me a chance to get the house cleaned for the following week, laundry done and school work completed for the weekend. I appreciate it very much. Along with everything mentioned, I'm going to use this time to put in a good work out. I did just that today.

Today's work out: 20 minute Intermediate Zumba class on the Wii and http://www.bodyrock.tv/2011/02/05/new-300-rep-workout/

I did all workouts included in today's Body Rock work out except for the last part, number 10.

Work outs 1, 2, 3 and 4; I did with no modifications.
5) I did with no sand bag.
6) I did push ups on my knees instead of pull ups. And can I just tell you how proud I am of myself! I maybe took a five second break throughout the entire 30. I am ecstatic! Starting this journey, I could barely do three push ups on my knees! And today, I did 30? In which it mostly felt like a breeze!?! Oh, I'm so proud.
7) Modified. I didn't go as low.
8) I did laying leg raises.
9) Modified. I didn't go as low.

I completed this work out in around 21 minutes. (I accidentally RE-STARTED my stopwatch in the middle of it.)

I feel good! Lunch and shower time! <3 Have a great weekend.

Four minutes and sweating! Say what?

That's right. I did a FOUR minute work out today and it had me SWEATING all over!

Today's workout: http://www.bodyrock.tv/2011/03/16/4-minutes-workout/

Obviously, it's fast and intense so I didn't get to count my reps. I just know, I pushed myself. It was only four minutes! I did EXACTLY what you saw in the video. Yes, folks. I even did a REAL push up. If you know me, you know... I started out on this journey rarely being able to do a full push up on my knees! Granted, I didn't go all the way down but I went half way and I know I'll be feeling it tomorrow. This will definitely be going on the top of my favorites. Especially when I try to find an excuse not to work out one day. IT'S ONLY FOUR MINUTES. Who doesn't have four minutes to spare?

Aside from that, though. I danced to four songs on Just Dance 2. I'm doing the "Just Sweat" program and reached my "sweat" of 1000 on just two songs so I did two more after that. I've done drank some water, stretched, drank some more water, read Dallas a bed time story and put him to bed and I am STILL sweating.

So, now I'm sick of this sweating crap and going to jump in the shower. Night all!

Thank you!

First off, I just want to thank everyone for the amazing feedback I got on my last post. It was a great feeling to get messages and comments about how my progress is going to motivate others. I feel like I can't give up now. So many of you said, "if you can do it, I know I can too!" And YES, YOU CAN. We all spend our days with little ones, co-workers or classmates and professors who depend on us... Take a little time away to do something for yourself! We can motivate each other. =)

I've had to take the past two days and take time for myself so I could rest. Other than my seven month old not wanting to sleep lately, he's also been sick with a cold and guess who caught it? I have been battling a terrible cough and migraine. It's subsided for the most part today but I'm not 100% healed. So, I took it easy again today and just did about five songs on Just Dance 2 and a 20 minute Zumba class.

Zumba is such a great work out. Even taking it easy and dancing instead of a BodyRock work out, I was still sweating afterward! It was just enough, though. It wasn't too much and it wasn't too little.

The weekend is here! And I still plan on working out. Hopefully, I can fit BodyRock in this weekend since I'll get to take Nyquil tonight and tomorrow to try knocking this cough out of me. Hope it works! Have a great weekend all!

Pictures? Say what?! | Day 4 | Body Rock

 Hey!

I have some pretty exciiiting news for you all today. I have taken photos of myself along this journey and normally, I would say "I am too ashamed" leaving me unable to post any of the photographs I have taken. I haven't even been looking to compare them but for some reason, I woke up, looked at myself in the mirror and decided, "eh, what the heck, take a picture and lets compare." That was the best idea I've ever had. I have never been more motivated and I am going to show you why!

Isn't that awesome!? I still have a long way to go but after seeing this, I have never felt more motivated to keep going because what I am doing is WORKING!

On to today's workout...

I'm not lyin' when I say, I have never sweated so much in MY LIFE. Literally.

Today's workout: http://www.bodyrock.tv/2010/11/16/counter-strike-fat-workout-2/
And it was a good one! I am sitting here all jittery and sweaty.

I did 33 reps in 12 minutes!

Granted, I modified the work out just a tad. Instead of jumping into the push ups and jumping back up, I walked them out. I couldn't go all the way to the ground but I went down as far as I could! (Didn't use my knees at all!!! That's improvement!)

I feel pretty good after that. And, considering I am feeling a bit under the weather, I am going to take a rest from Zumba today. Hopefully, this sore throat and cough don't keep me down for long!

Either way, I will not give up again!
